CHICAGO CHAPTER HOSTS ITS’
Dr. Amus, Ph.D, National Center for Policy Analysis and
Bo Mills, SIOR, addressed the SIOR Arizona Chapter
members, prospective members, and sponsors in September
at Donovan's Steakhouse in Phoenix, AZ. Approximately
60 members and sponsors attended the 75-minute lecture
on current local and international economic conditions.
In September, the SIOR Chicago Chapter hosted its monthly
luncheon at the Rosewood Restaurant in Rosemont, IL.
Rick Blasgen, President and CEO of the Council of Supply
Chain Management Professionals spoke to the chapter
about how transportation drives real estate through the

In July, the SIOR Georgia Chapter presented a special
seminar on the dynamic and ever changing logistics /supply
chain market in the United States. “From Shanghai to Your
Shelf: Logistics and Supply Chain Industrial Real Estate
Decisions of the 21st Century,” taught by Rob Nahigian,
SIOR, CRE, FRICS, MCR, was held at the Vinings Club
in the Overlook III building in Atlanta, GA. More than 60
real estate industry professionals including brokers, end-users, developers, architects, contractors and economic
development experts came from a variety of cities in
Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina to share
timely cutting-edge information about trends and ongoing
changes affecting the industry.
