A Pioneer for Women in Commercial Real Estate
Lynn Reich originally set out to become
an accountant, but a colleague introduced her to the world of commercial
real estate and she has never looked
back. In 1983, after her firm merged
with what was then Colliers Bennett &
Kahnweiler, she became the company’s
first woman hire in the industrial real
estate sector. In 1987, Lynn left to form
what would eventually become Stein &
Company before becoming a partner
at Podolsky Northstar Realty Partners.
She returned to Colliers in 1999 and
has remained in its Chicago office as an
Executive Vice President ever since.
Lynn has achieved numerous transac-
tion and production awards and in 2016
received the CREW Chicago Industry
Leadership Award. She has been an
active member of SIOR, serving on
numerous committees, culminating in
the Presidency of SIOR in 2009-10. She
was remains active on the SIOR board
and currently sits on the Governance
Committee as Operations Director.
Lynn was also President of the SIOR
Foundation in 2006 and is currently a
member of its Advisory Committee.
In addition to all of her professional
achievements, Lynn is an active volunteer in her local community. She serves
as a mentor for LINK Unlimited Scholars
and the Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women
Leaders in Real Estate Initiative helping
to shape the lives of both disadvantage
high school students as well as women
enrolled in graduate real estate studies
at Roosevelt University.
