Thank you to all who supported the SIOR Foundation this past year. By giving to the best of your ability—even during these slow
economic times--you enabled us to fulfill all of our funding plans in a year when many organizations could not do so.
Since this is my last column as President of the SIOR Foundation, I am pleased to report to you our progress on the goals I set for
the Foundation in January 2010.
Although economic conditions continued to be ‘slow’ for all SIOR members, through hard work and determination of the Trustees,
and of course the support of our generous donors, the Foundation:
• Funded $158,131 for matching scholarships, grants and programs;

None of this could be possible without the dedicated Trustees
who continue to volunteer their time, effort and financial
support to the Foundation’s programs. They never get the
full credit or exposure they deserve, so I’d like to end my
term and President’s report by thanking them. First, thank
