On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I
hope you are as proud as we are of these
programs. We couldn’t do it without you.
If you’re coming to Chicago and you
donated $1,000 or more to the SIOR
Foundation this past year, mark your
calendar for the 5th Annual High Donor
Wine-Tasting Event, co-sponsored by
NAI Hiffman and NAI Global, Friday,
October 21, 2011, during the SIOR Fall
World conference in Chicago.
It’s our way of saying thanks for giv
ing $1,000 or more this year. If you would
like a recap of your donations, or if you
have any questions, please do not hesi
tate to contact staff at 202.449.8238 or
We’ll see you in Chicago and we are
very grateful to you and proud of your
participation. Thank you again!
As always, feel free to contact me
or staff with your suggestions or ideas.

the 1% Solution.
It’s easy for you and good for
the SIOR Foundation.
Here’s an easy new way to “Give
Back” to the profession through
the “1% Solution,” especially
during these difficult economic
times. Many SIORs are pledging
to donate 1% of their fees earned
in SIOR cooperative transactions
to the Foundation. It’s a small
amount off the top for you —
but it’s a huge amount for the
Foundation to use to continue its
work. If the other broker chooses
not to participate, don’t let that
stop you from participating,
donate 1% of your half of the fee!
